Driving is one of the most liberating things you can learn, you will gain a huge amount of independence from it. You often hear people saying “I couldn’t live without my car!” and we fully believe that once you are on the road, you will say it too.
Driving lessons can be done in your own car, or our dual control test car. Dual control means that while you drive the car, our instructor can also have control if a situation were to arise, where you felt you were not ready, eg. A cyclist appears out of nowhere. We can intervene. This is for both our safety and yours. It also gives you a bit of security and peace of mind whilst you learn the basics.
We never pressure customers into paying up front for 12 lessons, instead we encourage you to pay lesson by lesson. This means that in the highly unlikely event you are not happy with our service; you will not have wasted a large sum of money.
Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice. Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled without 24 notice will be charged.
In relation to the driving test, we cover all areas; i.e. preparation, rules of the road/checks, technical checks, secondary controls and test routes. By practising regularly, you will build up the required skills needed to pass your test.
"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." – Lincoln
The EDT is a legal requirement before you take your test. Learners must complete 12 lessons, before they can take the test.
James will provide you with a logbook, where he will fill out each section after every lesson.
Each of the lessons concentrates on a different key area of driving. To learn more, please visit the RSA website, http://www.rsa.ie/RSA/Road-Safety/Our-Research/Dea...
